EXCLUSIVE: Zach Schiffman singing Kerrigan & Lowdermilk at 16
Please come to my BFA showcase on October 5th at Union Hall <3
The subject line of this email is not clickbait… here is the real thing:
Now that you have watched this video of a straight 16-year-old screaming tenor, please get your ticket now to 30 minutes of comedy from a gay 27-year-old screaming tenor (sans tonsils, which I think actually has opened up my voice a lot…). Everyone always thinks I went to theater school, so I have decided to lump all of my best (don’t count on that) stand-up into one show on October 5th at 10 PM, and I am also going to sing because people forget I have a 7/10 voice. I don’t really know why I am doing this show, but I do know that it’s an act of hedonism that will require a full house. I have some amazing guests on the show to fill out the hour, including Alex Forrest, Emily Wirth, Tessa Belle, and the most perfect host imaginable for the evening, Jimmy Award nominee and University of Michigan alum, Esther Fallick.
To counteract the depraved selfishness of doing a half-hour, I also want to encourage you to stream my best friend Toria Rainey’s outstanding debut EP, “You Would’ve Loved This,” and please get your tickets for Sophie Zucker’s return-from-Fringe show at the Bell House on 10/1.
LET ME BE UR RIDE OUT OF TOWN, XOXO
